Dr. John Sapp

Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Dr. John Sapp is a Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax Nova Scotia since 2002. He is a Professor of Medicine, cross-appointed to the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at Dalhousie University, where he also serves as Assistant Dean of Clinical Research for the Faculty of Medicine.

He is Past President of the Canadian Heart Rhythm Society and Co-Director of the Dalhousie University Cardiovascular Research Group. Clinical and research interests include methods for reducing sudden death, improving cardiac mapping, catheter ablation, and clinical management of ventricular arrhythmias.
