Sarah Melville

Translational Researcher

Sarah Melville is a Translational Research Associate (TRA) at IMPART and at the CardioVascular Research New Brunswick (CVR-NB). Sarah is responsible for conducting clinical trials at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick as she explores the efficiency of cardiac devices alongside our translational medicine team. She also previously served a term in the methodology position on the Horizon Health Network Research Ethics Board.

She attained certification as a knowledge translation professional from the University of Toronto, Department of Medicine and the SickKids Hospital. Ms. Melville graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Cardiopulmonary Sciences from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She then completed her certification as a Clinical Research Associate from the Michener Institute in Toronto, Ontario.

Current research interests for Ms. Melville include the assessment of innovations in cardiovascular diagnostics and e-health monitoring devices, federal regulation of medical devices, health care and research ethics, knowledge translation, and person-centered care.
