Tong Liu

Research Associate

Tong Liu is a PhD student in the Department of Economics at the University of Calgary.

Before pursuing the PhD study, she worked as a Senior Research Associate in Community Health & Epidemiology at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick. Her primary interests are health economics and applied econometrics. She was also supervised by Dr. Daniel Dutton on research covering social epidemiology and public health policy in Canada.

Her focus is on working with large data sets, handling complicated statistical problems, and providing timely analysis on real world health and policy problems.

Outside research, Tong loves listening to music, reading, running, and traveling.
