Tong Liu

Research Associate

Tong Liu is a research associate in Community Health & Epidemiology at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick.

She graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a master’s degree in economics, her primary interests are health economics and applied econometrics.

Tong is currently working on population health projects of a quantitative nature. She is also supervised by Dr. Daniel Dutton on research covering social epidemiology and public health policy in Canada. Her focus is on working with large data sets, handling complicated statistical problems, and providing timely analysis on real world health and policy problems.

Outside research, Tong loves listening to music, reading, running, and traveling.
