From the Archives: Dr. Jean-Francois Légaré Appointed Chief of Cardiac Surgery at New Brunswick Heart Centre

Since his appointment in 2016, Dr. Jean-Francois Légaré has been the Chief of Cardiac Surgery at the New Brunswick Heart Centre in Saint John. Dr. Légaré replaced outgoing chief surgeon Marc Pelletier, who left to pursue a position at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Légaré is an acclaimed cardiac surgeon who previously worked at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax. He also held an associate professorship post at Dalhousie University.
